My photography isn't about perfect poses. It's about authentic moments. I'm drawn to the real stories—the focused hands of a craftsman, the quiet confidence of a professional, the unscripted iconic moments.

This focus on detail comes naturally. While photographing nature, I can be viewing a grand vista and find myself pulled away, intent on capturing some small detail: the gentle wave of tall grasses, or the delicate petals of a flower backlit by the sun. I view these details as a fine artist, often working in black and white to highlight their pure form and simplicity, while also celebrating the vibrant stories told by color or impressionism. This is the same eye that I bring to environmental portraits—a unique ability to find the compelling story in the details of your landscape, workplace, your tools, and your expressions.

My approach is collaborative and relaxed. I work with you on-location using natural light and discrete lighting methods to create images that feel genuine. I appreciate that your time is valuable, and my goal is to integrate into your environment, causing as little disruption as possible but accomplishing excellent unique images to suit all your needs and tell your story.

It’s in moments like these, using a long exposure to blur the spinning blades into a soft halo of motion, that I find the story.
